The International Research Journal of Medical Sciences and Health Care (IRJMSHC) is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to adhere strictly to these principles, following guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Authorship should reflect significant intellectual contribution.

  • All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and its submission.

  • Changes to authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

1.3 Data Integrity and Reproducibility

  • Authors must ensure accuracy, transparency, and integrity of research data.

  • Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is unacceptable.

  • Raw data should be available upon reasonable request.

1.4 Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence their research.

  • All funding sources must be clearly stated.

1.5 Ethical Compliance in Medical Research

  • Research involving human participants or animals must follow ethical guidelines, such as Helsinki Declaration and institutional approvals.

  • Informed consent must be obtained where applicable.

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make editorial decisions based solely on academic merit, relevance, and originality.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all manuscripts.

  • Recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.

  • Investigate ethical concerns, misconduct, or complaints in accordance with COPE guidelines.

3. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Treat manuscripts as confidential documents.

  • Provide objective, unbiased, and constructive feedback.

  • Complete reviews within agreed timelines or inform the editor of delays.

  • Disclose conflicts of interest and decline review assignments if impartiality is compromised.

4. Publisher Responsibilities

  • Support ethical publishing practices and editorial independence.

  • Handle corrections, retractions, and ethical issues transparently.

  • Ensure permanent availability and preservation of published content.

5. Handling Misconduct, Retractions, and Corrections

  • Allegations of misconduct (plagiarism, data manipulation, unethical research) are investigated thoroughly.

  • Confirmed misconduct may lead to rejection, retraction, correction, or notification to the author’s institution.

  • Retractions and corrections are published clearly and linked to the original article.

6. Ethical Compliance Statement

By submitting a manuscript to IRJMSHC, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Publication Ethics Statement and ethical principles recommended by COPE.
