The International Research Journal of Medical Sciences and Health Care (IRJMSHC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, editorial integrity, transparency, and scholarly publishing practices. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board. The publisher does not interfere with editorial decisions, peer review outcomes, or acceptance and rejection decisions. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, relevance, ethical compliance, and the quality of the submitted work.
Peer Review Policy
IRJMSHC operates a Double-Blind Peer Review process.
- Authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
- Editors evaluate reviewer comments before making a final decision.
- Possible decisions include:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
All manuscripts are assessed for originality, scientific validity, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to the COPE Core Practices and maintains strict ethical standards throughout the publication process. Authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers are expected to uphold the highest standards of research integrity.
Plagiarism Policy
- All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, or excessive text overlap may be rejected immediately.
- Self-plagiarism and redundant publication are also considered unethical.
- Confirmed cases of plagiarism may result in rejection, retraction, or notification to the author's institution.
Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to:
- Study conception and design
- Data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation
- Drafting or revising the manuscript
- Approval of the final version
All authors must approve the submitted manuscript and agree to be accountable for its content.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, or personal relationships that may influence their work or editorial decisions.
Any potential conflict of interest must be declared during submission.
Human and Animal Research Ethics
For studies involving human participants:
- Approval from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee is required.
- Informed consent must be obtained from all participants.

For studies involving animals:
- Approval from an appropriate Animal Ethics Committee must be obtained.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Artificial Intelligence tools may be used for language editing and manuscript preparation support. However:
- AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
- Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted work.
- Any significant use of AI tools must be disclosed in the manuscript.
Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern
The journal maintains the integrity of the scholarly record.
Corrections may be issued when errors do not invalidate the findings.
Retractions may be issued in cases involving:
- Research misconduct
- Fabricated or falsified data
- Plagiarism
- Ethical violations
- Duplicate publication
Expressions of concern may be published while investigations are ongoing.
Confidentiality
Editors and reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents.
