Instruction For Authors

The International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanity Development (IJSSHD) welcomes high-quality, original research in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary studies. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission, review, and publication process.

1. Scope of the Journal

IJSSHD publishes original research, review articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and short communications that contribute to knowledge in:

  • Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Economics)

  • Humanities (Philosophy, History, Literature, Cultural Studies)

  • Interdisciplinary Studies related to social sciences and humanities

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Case Studies

  • Conceptual Papers

  • Short Communications

All submissions must be original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

3.1 General Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1-inch margins on all sides.

  • Use A4 page size and 1.5 line spacing.

  • Pages should be numbered consecutively.

3.2 Structure of Manuscript

  1. Title Page

    • Title of the manuscript

    • Full names of all authors

    • Affiliations and addresses

    • Corresponding author’s email address

  2. Abstract

    • Maximum 250 words

    • Include objectives, methods, results, and conclusions

  3. Keywords

    • 4–6 keywords representing the main topics

  4. Main Text

    • Introduction

    • Literature Review

    • Methodology

    • Results and Discussion

    • Conclusion and Recommendations

  5. Acknowledgments (if applicable)

  6. References

4. Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

  • All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and cited in the text.

  • Provide descriptive titles or captions for all tables and figures.

  • Figures and images must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

5. References

  • IJSSHD follows the APA referencing style (7th edition).

  • All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of references.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must adhere to the journal’s Publication Ethics Policy.

  • Submissions must be original, truthful, and free from plagiarism.

  • Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and acknowledge all funding sources.

7. Plagiarism

  • All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.

  • Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold may be rejected.

8. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the online submission system or via the official journal email.

  • Authors will receive confirmation of submission.

  • The corresponding author is responsible for all communication with the journal.

9. Peer Review Process

  • IJSSHD follows a double-blind peer review process.

  • Manuscripts are reviewed for originality, relevance, methodology, and academic quality.

  • Authors are required to revise manuscripts based on reviewer feedback when necessary.
